Hello and welcome to JP Coaching!

My name is Jack Penfold, and I’ve been running for over 10 years since I was just 15 years old. I’ve always been passionate about running and the thrill of crossing the finish line, and I’ve personally achieved a sub 2:40 marathon at the London Marathon, which was made more special having self-coached myself at the time.

My love for running goes beyond just personal achievements and goals because I’ve also found great joy in helping others reach their own running dreams. It’s this sense of pride and fulfilment that ultimately inspired me to pursue running coaching, and I haven’t looked back since.

As a fully qualified UK Athletics Running Coach, I’ve had the pleasure of working with athletes of all levels, backgrounds, and ages. Whether you’re just starting out with running or you’re a seasoned pro, I can help you achieve your goals in all distances and events. I’ve helped numerous athletes achieve personal best times, and that feeling of supporting someone through the ups and downs of training is truly incomparable and something I cherish immensely.
